First, the nitty-gritty.

Let’s make sure you have the qualifications we’re looking for:

  1. You represent a charity that is registered with the Canada Revenue Agency OR a not-for-profit organization.
  2. Your organization has a head office within the Ottawa city limits.
  3. Your organization’s stakeholders (for example, your board of directors) are committed to a rebrand.

Next, the application.

This is the part where you tell us all about yourself and your amazing organization!

Here’s the thing, though: we want to get to know you in a way that’s not always possible through written content. So we’re asking you to submit a video instead. Don’t sweat it—you can shoot your video right from your desk, using your smartphone or webcam. Nothing fancy. We won’t make it public or distribute it. We promise.

Tips for making your video shine

  • Keep it short. Two or three minutes is plenty.
  • Introduce yourself and tell us about your organization’s mission and your accomplishments so far.
  • Tell us what your organization could gain from a new brand. More volunteers? More donor loyalty? More patrons? Whatever your goals, we want to know about them.
  • Let us know that your organization’s decision-makers are committed to building a new brand. This will assure us that we can hit the ground running!
